Sea Machines is the leader in pioneering advanced perception and autonomous command and control systems for the marine and maritime industries. As a fast-growing technology startup, Sea Machines is applying practical AI and machine learning to develop systems that increase the safety, efficiency and performance of ships, workboats and commercial passenger vessels.
We’re not just commanding and controlling vessels. We’re plotting the future course of a critical $436B industry.
STEERING THE COURSE
Sea Machines’ waterfront Boston, Mass., office is located adjacent to on-water vessel testing sites in Boston. Our fully renovated workspace offers a collaborative open environment and expansive conference and meeting areas.
The Hamburg, Germany, office is in a historic building (a 120-year old, former chocolate factory!) along the waterfront in the Hammerbrook area, with office space, a commercial workshop and test lab, and dockage for our test vessels.
The Esbjerg, Denmark, office is strategically located near the Port of Esbjerg and provides close proximity to many of the company’s key clients.
Our commitment to sustainability and social care.
Sea Machines isn’t just developing industry-changing technology, we are committed to responsible business. We operate with engrained goals of zero impact to the natural environment and societal support through education and uplift.
We’re a powerhouse team of mariners, engineers, coders and autonomy and perception scientists.
As leading technology developers, we are focused on solving some of the most persistent challenges in the industry. Our culture is focused on innovation, marked by a friendly and team-oriented environment, and crewed by a team that always operates with integrity and respect. Paramount is our determination to reach further and execute, while having fun in the process. Our accessibility to an active test fleet and a company culture focused on winning makes this easy.
We’re leaders because we operate differently.
Our technology has been developed, validated and deployed. Our impact can be seen in missions across the globe.
Sea Machines systems have been approved by Class and State regulators for use aboard commercial vessels around the world.
We have entered partnerships with some of the most respected names in the industry, including:
Our fleet, manned by full-time test captains, operates daily to improve and iterate our technologies.
We were sparked from the maritime industry by a founder with a passion to elevate the industry. We have leaders from robotics, MLAI, autonomy, other marine industries, and advanced software and advanced machine learning companies. We know the ocean industries and how technology is building the future.
